Support the Johnson Company

Donate Today

The Johnson Company is committed to using our work to use our artistic expression to connect to the larger community in South Carolina. In the past, we have explored topics such as race relations and the mundanities of adult life through performances on First Thursday at the Columbia Museum of Art and Tapp’s Art Center (now Tapp’s Outpost).

Though the way we interact as performers has changed due to the pandemic, we continue to build community through our art in the form of film, free online dance classes and movement meditations, and collaborations with other local artists.

In order to help support these efforts, as well as offset the loss of income from cancelled performances at the start of the pandemic, we ask that you consider supporting The Johnson Company through a donation of any size. These generous donations would grant us the funding we need to pay and commission other artists to collaborate, as well as to sustain our free public programming, such as our online classes.

In these uncertain times, sustaining and uplifting local arts is of the utmost importance.  Your donation, no matter what size, will help our company continue to foster important conversations and community collaborations through dance.
